Part-05: Setup Menu: Buttons, Screen, Power, Bluetooth
Follow these steps on the camera.
Assign function buttons
MENU/OK → SET UP → BUTTON/DIAL SETTING → FUNCTION (Fn) SETTING
- Assign one button to ND FILTER.
- Assign one button to FILM SIMULATION.
- Assign one button to FACE/EYE DETECTION.
- Assign one button to DIGITAL TELECONVERTER if you use 50/70 mm crop often.
Set touch screen
MENU/OK → SET UP → BUTTON/DIAL SETTING → TOUCH SCREEN SETTING
- Turn ON if you like touch focus.
- Turn OFF if your nose or fingers accidentally move the focus point.
Power management
MENU/OK → SET UP → POWER MANAGEMENT
- Set AUTO POWER OFF to save battery.
- Use PERFORMANCE mode only when you need faster response.
- Carry a spare battery for travel.
Bluetooth/smartphone
MENU/OK → NETWORK/USB SETTING → Bluetooth/SMARTPHONE SETTING
- Pair the camera with the Fujifilm app.
- Use it for quick JPEG transfer.
- Do not rely on phone transfer as your only backup.
